Terms of Service
QolSync AI is operated by CHONGS CLOUD CONSULTING SERVICE LLC ("C3S LLC", "we"), 16113 SE 170th Pl, Renton, WA 98058, United States. These Terms are an agreement between you and C3S LLC. For support, contact support@qolsync.ai.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using QolSync AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use the service.
2. Service Description
QolSync AI is a translation app for iPhone and iPad that provides real-time, AI-powered translation, transcription, and captioning across 100+ languages. Features and limits vary by subscription.
3. AI Translation Notice
QolSync AI uses artificial intelligence to transcribe, translate and summarize speech, text and documents. AI output can contain errors, omissions and mistranslations, and may be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading — particularly for names, numbers, dates, dosages, legal terms and idioms. QolSync AI is not a professional, sworn or certified translation service and is not a substitute for a qualified human interpreter or professional advisor. Do not rely on QolSync AI output as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, immigration, safety or other significant decisions — verify important information with a qualified professional or with the original speaker. You are responsible for how you use the output.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at security@qolsync.ai. You must be at least 13 years old — or older where the law of your country sets a higher minimum age or requires parental consent — to create or use a QolSync AI account. We do not permit anyone under 13 to create or use an account.
5. Billing and Payments
QolSync AI is free to download and includes a free tier. You can buy a paid subscription or additional points in three ways: in the iOS app through the Apple App Store, billed to your Apple account; on our website, charged to the payment method you provide; or, for the Zoom app, a subscription through the Zoom App Marketplace. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. To stop a renewal, cancel an App Store subscription at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your App Store account settings; manage a website subscription from your account on our website, and a Zoom App Marketplace subscription in Zoom. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Points
Points are the prepaid unit you spend to use QolSync AI's translation, transcription, and document features. They are a service credit, not money: points have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for cash, cannot be transferred or resold, and are usable only inside QolSync AI. A paid plan grants points each month; you may also purchase additional points at any time.
Points included with a plan are granted per user at the start of each billing period and expire at the end of that period. They do not carry over. An annual plan grants its points monthly, not all at once.
Points you purchase never expire and remain available while your account is open, including after a subscription ends. Purchased points are held for the account, and monthly plan points are always spent first. If you delete your account, unused points are forfeited; deleting an account does not by itself issue a refund.
Refunds follow the store you bought through. Purchases made in the iOS app are handled by Apple under Apple's terms and applicable law; Apple decides refunds and we cannot reverse that decision. Purchases made on our website are refunded by us, on request within 14 days, for points you have not used. Subscriptions bought through the Zoom App Marketplace are handled by Zoom under Zoom's terms. Monthly plan points are part of the plan and are not separately refundable. If a purchase is refunded, the points it granted are removed from your balance.
If you turn on automatic top-up on the web, you authorise us to charge your saved payment method, without further notice and at unscheduled times, whenever your point balance falls below the threshold you set, for the point package you selected, up to the monthly limit you set. You can change or turn this off at any time in your account settings. We e-mail you when a top-up succeeds or fails.
An Event Pass is a one-time purchase for live events. An Event Pass bought in the iOS app does not require a subscription, includes a set amount of event time, can be used across sessions until that time is used up, and does not expire. An Event Pass bought on our website is available only with a plan that includes broadcasting or an active webinar subscription; it covers a single event and expires 12 months after purchase if it has not been used. An unused Event Pass is forfeited if you delete your account; deleting an account does not by itself issue a refund.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use QolSync AI for any unlawful purpose, to transmit harmful or offensive content, to attempt to reverse-engineer our technology, or to use the service in a way that degrades performance for other users. Violation may result in immediate account suspension.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the content you generate with QolSync AI (transcripts, translations, summaries). QolSync AI retains all rights to the app, AI models, and underlying technology.
8. Limitation of Liability
Except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise (see "Your Statutory Rights" below), QolSync AI is provided "as is". AI output can contain errors — see the "AI Translation Notice" above — and service interruptions may occur despite reasonable efforts to maintain uptime. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.
9. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes, limits or restricts any right or remedy you have under applicable mandatory law that cannot be excluded, limited or restricted by agreement. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, this includes your statutory rights under local consumer-protection law and your legal guarantee that digital content and digital services conform to the contract. The limitations and exclusions in these Terms apply only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
10. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, or if it cannot be enforced, treated as removed, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
11. Governing Law & Consumer Forum
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer residing in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you additionally benefit from any provisions of the law of your country of residence that are mandatory and cannot be derogated from by agreement, and nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of those provisions or of your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence.
12. Modifications
We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after notice constitutes acceptance.
